Got a Mazda 6 as a rental for a while. First impressions: interior is cheaper than the CX-7, the V6 feels as though it has a harder time moving that car around than the turbo 4 in the CX-7 - flat spots at 35 in 2nd and 75 in 3rd, stereo has way too much built in treble. Its not a bad car though I probably wouldn't spend my money on one.

Yeah, I rode in a 07 6i and was disappointed in the interior materials. Felt and looked really cheap.

and when i meant your driving a ford, i meant that the V6 is not a mazda engine, should have requested the 2.3l 4 cyl

Nah I know its the duratec V6 from Ford but that's all they had. I chose the Mazda over a Spectra, Cobalt and Dakota. My wife will be driving it like 95% of the time anyway until we get the CX-7 back. Even she was surprised. She is by no means a car person and she mentioned to me last night that her car has more power. I was like...whoa you could tell? LOL

I'm happy that I have a rental through all of this but my gosh...what's with the lack of parts? Stop making CX-7's for a day and ship out spare parts! I don't know about your Mazda dealerships but mine both have enough CX-7's for a month! A day or two of not making them and just shipping out spare parts, I don't think, would hurt.

Oh well, all I can do is wait
