Doh, forgot to mention...I wired it how 1stMP3 reccomended...but if i turn on my AC on level 3 or 4, it draws power away from teh WB and makes it read all screwy.

i wouldnt do that then....maybe you should use a wire just designated for the wb??? just because i got my egt wire to the other guages, and it goes bonkers when i turn on the lights, or slam the sound, you need for the wb to be as accurate as possible man...make its own power and ground supply...just my .02

yea, im gonna need to find some power for all my gauges. any other suggestions on where to get it. i was also thinking dash lights so i can dim them.

dumb keola, why does it say:
CuRRenT MoDs:
Stock
2002.5 White Protege 5

aren't u boosted??

I am actualy going to use the factory power and ground for the radio as my new deck requires a direct battery tap.
Sorry for the bad advice Kool, I was worried about that a bit but was hoping the switched power line wasn't for primary power just a on signal, guess not.

Where's mine man?

You guys needing more power should just run a new line with a relay to switch the power. . .instant juice and no dimming and crap.

Beavis I sent you emails regarding it.......ohhh by the way its shipping out tommorow with a boost controller and turbo;)

Terry, can you get anymore of these. You know I'll take one. If you can, can you weld the bung in for me before the downpipe ships out.

OKAY, bringing this one back...so what exactly does the numbers mean??? i mean, where should i be at full bo0st??? 12.something or 14's...i dont know what im looking at...finally got it in and running..

The ideal number would be 12.3 for our cars. At full throttle mine drops down in the 11's and then gradually works up to 12.5 to 12.6 at full boost before shifting. Just make sure its not in the 14's or higher.

lower numbers mean rich, higher numbers mean lean.

when not in boost just cruising in close loop it will always read 14.7 it moves around some but stays in that area. when i enter boost i have it set so i run 11's most of the time, some times it hits low 12's.

has anyone noticed that when they shift from gears that the wb ratio flies to around 15.....i was in second gear and it seemed to be good, i remember around 12.3 then i went into third and noticed right away that it shot up to like 15.2 or something, so i got off the gas....i dont know if it does that then makes its way down to 12.3 but i didnt want to hold it at that...anyone know?

if you take your foot off the gas it will shot up tio erh eventually... when you remove your foot it turns the injectors off.. that is what you are seeing.. if your foot is on the gas and your hitting 15.2 up your FMU pill. but it should be fairly consistant throughout all gears. with the FMU you have to tune it extra rich just to be safe in other areas.

duMb KeoLa if this is occuring when your accelerating (ie foot on the gas) you are leaning out. That could be due to the large size of your turbo 62-1:)
