Can anyone please explain why its so damn hard to make power outta the msp's. I havent really done much my mods are listed bellow. But hell my buddy in a stock vr6 jetta pulls me like im setting still the other night. I came home and order the ssafc waiting on it to get in but theres gotta be something im over looking.

They aren't very powerful cars, a tune will make a huge difference but you really need to upgrade to a larger turbo and more boost if you want to go to the next level. A VR6 doesn't have that much more power than an MSP, you will be amazed what a difference the AFC will make.

Im really hopping so. With the vr6 my clutch slipped hella bad. When I split my stocker lsd in half I relaced the clutch while I was installing the mfactory. Stupid ebay clutchs.

All you have is turbo supporting mods. Important stuff but unless you're running more boost, and get a tune don't expect any gains.

Afc does help, but mostly with pickup/hesitation don't expect a night and day difference

Get Clutch masters.

Slipping clutch will do that. Safc, 10psi, and a non eBay clutch and it will be another story. Vr6 jettas aren't all that fast not that the msp is. Just don't go messing with the type r and kswapped civics

Im just saying what iv put into this car for the same price I could have a b20 ripping by now. Lol. Love the car to death just jeed more power.once the ssafc gets in and the 440cc injectors arrive that I got from another member how far can I push to boost. Safely of coarse. Iv read with what I got and what I have coming I could go to 14lbs. Thats with a custom built down pipe that il be building next week aswell.

Thats part of the fun for me. Ive only seen 2 other MSP's on the road between north houston all the way to Galveston. Im sure there is more but I like being diffrent. Making it faster than what people expect will be my next challenge. I wish there was a Mazda club or something around here.

B series are not that fast. The only thing that makes the b18c fast is the trans. H2b and kswaps are where it is for all motor. H2b In an ef with b16 trans pulled on my 323 by 3 cars. But it's still a honda and there are multiple built exactly the same

Fsde is a weak motor, 10 psi is the limit most people go to for daily driving. Some have went to 12 if it's a play toy people have done 14 if they didn't care. 250whp is about the limit for the stock tooth pick rods
