Why the hesitation???

I have a mazda cx7 with 8k miles. In the last week, when you acclerate the car jerks, like when you are driving a stick, and taking off in the wrong gear. WHen you reach normal speed, it drives fine. Accelerate, it jerks again. Just had remote start installed about 1.5 weeks prior by dealer. Took car to dealer said power booster wasnt' working, replaced that, still doing it.

Any ideas?

Are you using a top tier fuel like Shell, Chevron etc with 91 or higher octane? You may have gotten a poor load of fuel. I also suggest that make sure you have the latest software upgrades for the TCM & ECM modules. Power booster not working?? The only power booster in the car that I know of is the power brake booster which has nothing to do with your issue.
