Why does this site crash all the time now?

Constantly I get messages that its too busy or it just freezes for like 1 min between pages.

I always have HORRIBLE response times with this site. It literally takes 5 minutes to load all of the buttons (emoticons, reply, edit, etc.) I have to use quick reply all the time and do my own quotes it's so damn slow. Real bummer. Been like this for weeks and I'm on a T1.

i just checked in with the admins and stuff guys... trust me this has been an ongoing thing and the server admin is working on it (enry is his forum name) according to the link that orlando msp posted it may be a plugin that is causing the issue...

for you dcomiskey it sounds like you may have a port issue that some of the other people are having. do you surf normally at work? from my smidge of understanding is that a lot of the buttons and emoticons and such are being run through a port that is normally blocked a lot on company fire walls... this to is being looked into...

so please don't think these things aren't going unnoticed... and if you are having issues that you think are server related don't hesitate to post and ask instaed of just dealing with it...
