Why do people have to drive like s***

A proper dent job should not be done with a hole. you sand the paint weld a piece of metal on where the dent is, like a stud, pull it, cut off grind it perfectly smooth and repaint. In my book, that is how any dent should be fixed.

Paintless dent fixes are not good, because you scratch the metal on the back side, which can then oxidise and rust.

FYI. A good paintless dent repair is much better than welding and bondo. As far as rust on the inside of the metal, that is not possible. All the GOOD tools utilized in paintless dent repair have teflon tips or rounded tips.

My suggestion is to get educated before making such claims. (coffee)

Through the whole in the door jam a long tool (Pry Tool) can be placed. Pressure exhibited on the inside of a dent pushes it out. Reflective light on the outside of the car tells you if you have eliminated the dent. As far as the hole goes...its harmless really but good paintless dent repair places will usually plug them.

Take note of the hole location. It is inside the outer door skin and will not be exposed to water or the elements. Also, insides of most doors are indeed galvanized. "Bare Metal" as you say, does not exist.

once you scrape and rub, you leave bare metal. It's like putting a key mark in the paint of a car.
