Why do people have to be like this?

People really like to argue thier opinions on how a race turns out on pure numbers on paper like info, and it drives me nuts.
What drives me nuts is people like you. You honestly want us to believe a guy that owns a Vette saw your car parked, stoped and went in looking for you just to race a MS3? LMAO!!! Yea Right! And even if this is true, the only reason you would have stayed up with him is because he had to be a complete idiot.

So now you know why we think your full of sheiat!(first)

he was definetly ******* with you. I drove a C5 vette (manual) and giving it 3/4 gas you can bust the tires loose and haul some major ass. I'm not trying to knock the MS3. But that C5 has 400-450 h.p.

A C5 has about 345 crank horsepower...
And I said nothing about that guy getting out to come in and do anything, he saw it when he drove in the parking lot and asked whos it was when he was in the drive thru getting his food. He wasn't your typical vette owner and was a very nice guy that was looking to have some fun, and all I was stating was that in light of him jacking up putting the car in drive from 2nd(auto) it was a decently close race. Since there's no way anyone can come anywhere near a C5 vette, and I must be a liar cause I have nothing better to do than come up with some dumb s*** and come post this big made up story to make me feel better about myself, mods can delete this thread.

No offence bro but myself and my former roommate in his MS6 did a little race on a nice little deserted road and I beat him without too much trouble. This is me driving the 3500 Lb. non-aerodynamic brick that is a mustang. I think a vette at 350 hp cutting through the wind would absolutely wreck you. Just one more thing, although I realise I contributed to this thread, I still thinks its a pointless one.

And if you were auto and had a drivers error and considered that I haven't tested it yet but the MS3 is at least as fast if not maybe a little faster than a MS6 from a roll, there is no way that in anyway that a lesser horsepower compact car could even hold it's own, I must have been high on drugs and imagined the whole thing.

So you were working at a food place and work let you go just to race this guy in your new car??

Or did the Corvette guy wait a few hours and come back for you. lol:bs: And it don't matter if the Vette was an Auto. The Auto C5 stock runs low 13s high 12s depending on tires. You state you took off in second, that is also one of the limited torq gears so your power to weight ratio is even less.

What this should prove to you and the rest of the speed racers is this. Before you come in here blowing smoke have it on tape!

Street racing is dangerous. Take it to the track.

btw, congrats on your kill.

I try to stay at the track, don't have time to hurt myself or anyone, but every once in awhile I go on the street when it looks safe enough. And it wasn't a kill, more a mild death.

ok, as a former vette owner, and all my experiences with cars, I cannot believe this post. (Or the original). If he were in an auto vette, the only time you should have been inching up on him as at the beginning of the race, since he is gonna be at low RPMs for a bit. And auto cars don't hit the rev limiter. Sorry, I think more of the truth is, like you said, he was a very nice guy, and wanted to know what a MS3 could do, so he held back, to keep you in his sights. He was interested in the car and wanted more info. No one is saying the MS3 is slow, but it was not made to compete with Vette's, and as a result... doesn't.

I wouldn't assume they should hit the rev limiter either unless as I stated he didn't have it in drive but more had in in 2nd manualy shifting it. And more or less that's what I said happened.
