Its the same motor....cpe has made 350whp with meth injection and stock turbo....I will be tuning the meth injection kit I have on november 7th....shooting for over 350awhp.
What is your car running in the 1/4 mile?

Just kidding. Kind of hard for me to make it to the track. I don't have time to do much of anything with this car lately, too much work, too much travel, blah blah blah.
Really don't have too much time to work on the car the way I want lately and get it set up the way I want.
Hopefully next summer I'll find out.

based on personal experience and what ive seen on this site. I would stay around 300whp for safety. If I was to go over this hp level it would be with an extremely safe tune and meth injection.
If your motor blows, a new stock motor is not cheap and an upgraded motor is even more expensive. And you can pretty much expect your head to take damage if your rods go.

the car came out in 2006 and 2007. Whats a long time for you? Im not talking about it lasting 3 years, im talking about the power level taking years off the life of the car. Those rods can only take so much abuse. You probably have a really good tune tho.

Let's just say we are ready for when it blows and then it's all or nothing with that car... I guess it's more of seeing just how far you can push it.

You can buy a Speed3 motor here... 4k miles, perfect.
Under $1700 shipped my guess once bidding ends. If i had the extra cash to spend on a motor, I'd be highest bidder. Hell, I'd pay $2500. Its $10,XXX or so from Mazda,can't remember. ONE member got his replaced under warranty..

Mike if you were tuned for 14psi that means your not supposed to up the boost bro. You probably didnt have enough timing pulled out and BOOM. There you have it.(blowup)
