I drive a caution cone
Mine went out at 13k miles. dealer replaced. I'm going to switch to new pads since i believe that its tearing up the rotors.

yeah ive been telling them theyre warped and they need to drive it around a good while, not just around the parking lot. they told me that they couldnt duplicate the problem.... BS!!! And looking at the rears, theyre seems to be glazing on my rotors:( I may try another dealer in town.

Mine has 10K and it's going in the shop soon for brakes, stereo tripping out all the time now (the locking in open position thing, and the reverse on start up problem - how it wont' go into gear). Wish me luck with the brakes.

mine did it at 10k i had alot of deer run out in front of me. So i slammed on brakes pretty hard a few different times. Still haven't fixed it, i just drive a little different to not stress the brakes out as much.

im at 27000 and mine went warped within the last 1000 miles or so. Now that I got a job where i commute those highway rush hour abrupt stops are killing me.

I have 12000 miles and now I am experiencing a gurgling / grinding noise from the front only when braking at low speeds. I guess I'll find out on Friday if they are warped. I also hear from other members that replacing the stock pads will help alleviate this. I'm thinking of going with the Carbotech Bobcat Front and Rear Pad Sets. What a headache!

I'mma get some KVR pads, seems like the stock pads are harsh on the rotors. I know alot of you guys are getting that Screeching noise when stopping, maybe the stock pads are just too much for them.

40kish something like 45k i do believe... the rears anyway, changed them myself... the front went out in the 35k just had them resurface it

I ended up getting bobcats from carbotech and resurfaced my rotors. Everything is silky smooth now. I went through two sets of rotors from mazda and both sets ended up bad after around 15kmiles. It's the pads I think that are causing the rotor problems.

How are those Bobcats treating you? I was thinking of getting the front and rear sets.

mine warped at 7,000 miles on my first MSP
and at 7,500 on the second.

I need to do the same thing because my brakes are worn out and my rotors are warped. How much did you pay for the pads?

Mine warped at around 5000 mi. and the dealer just did warranty work on them at 23K mi.

They turned them and they are perfect still.
Matt

The bobcats are pretty good pads. Feel the same as the stock pads kinda. I really don't push my brakes so I can't say for sure. I can definately tell that the bobcats need to be warmed up a little before they start to work well. Check out their website for prices.
