You didn't copy mine, since mine have been out of production for a while you couldn't have known about them. It just shows that we are on the same page when it comes to what looks good. I guess the Aussie antennas have that little black part just above the base that looks like a covered spring. The NA Pro5's don't have that.

Oh that thing...that is just a rubber cover that goes over the hinged joint. You can change the angle of the antenna this way (if you feel like it that is).

Your best bet is to PM Tonkabui for anything regarding DaveB. Dave is trying to take a break from all of this ring/antenna business for awhile, so he's not getting directly involved. In fact, I'm pretty sure the group buy on his rings that's going on right now is going to be his last for some time.

Yeah, I think that GB is for early Summer sometime...I could be wrong. Can't blame him though...he's got a full time business, and then does this on the side for the community.

The Super Shorty RULES

I have a SUPER SHORTY ANTENNA from e-bay. At first I was a bit skeptic at purchasing it from e-bay but it is so cool. It's about 75% shorter than the stock one.. if not more.. and it looks really clean. I think it only cost me about 15.00 or 20.00 which I believe was well worth the money.

sorry, mctoone for the delay. the boddes were on vacation. dave will not be making any more new products. production of the last run of gauge rings will be in fall. antennas we're not sure about because of the problems with the powder coater last batch.

i got the audi TT style super short antenna... reception sucks sometimes depending on the strength of the frequency regardless of city or highway. i like it though. i also aquired an antenna that goes for a honda element. its "like new" with a one scuff on it.

when i go home, im gonna compare them and ill be sure to put the one i dont want up here for sale.. probaby cheap.. like 10 shipped.

the honda element antenna is the same length as the one chriscrooz has except that the taper of the entire antenna goes the entire length... meaning no ball or anything on the end

Hey guys,I got the S2000's antenna today.It's pretty short and it's got the same reception as the OE antenna.If anybody's interested it'll be around 20 bucks at a local Honda dealership.
