Who was fabbing a single piece dash pod?

Hey all, sorry for the extra thread, but I have been looking for a thread I saw a few days ago that had somebody who was going to fab a one piece triple gauge pod for the dash using an existing pod and a factory dash piece. This is without a doubt the way I want to go, since it would be the best way to maintain the stock look without having to destroy any stock dash pieces.

do u mean a pod where the nav system should be? cuz i think the one that i saw was an ebay buy that was made pretty cheaply

I saw it and it did look kinda...well crappy. It was held in with 4 screws. It did not look like a clean professional job.

I order one of this people pod that goes in the area where the monitor for the Nav goes and sent it back in just seconds . The fit is horrible, the color does not match any OEM Dash parts, it was held in place with 4 screws, does not match even the texture of the dash and to make it worse you have to cut the top of the dash to get the Gauges to fit correctly.
I was so disappointed that I sent it back minutes from getting it and I paid fed ex to make sure I had a tracking number and they return my whole payment.
It was a piece of Crap.

That is the Lotek pod. I was actually the car that they used to test fit. They retouched the hell out of that photo....

Mattleegee on one of the other 3 forums was the one taking on the possiblility of making a one piece by combining the two...

Haha, that would explain why I couldn't find it here, thanks! Yeah, that pod is right in concept, but I want one that replaces the stock piece instead of one that screws onto it and forces you to hack your dash.
