im absolutely in love with my speed, my first car and its kinda hard not to get emotionaly attatched to it, my heart breaks hearing the horrors stories of the fellow board members, but its a risk im willing to take, i love her and she loves me :)

After 105k miles I still love my MSP. I'm planning on running time trials with it again this year, then it will be decision time again. I already have my car that I'll never sell, my '72 Chevelle which was my first car.

How do you reset it. The display doesnt come on at all.

you need a fine tip point, like a pen tip or something like that. There will be a small little button near the volume button, press that in and it should do the trick.

i love my car mainly because nobody has one in my area. its unique, jaw dropping, beautiful, gorgeous, sexy, unparallel to other cars. i love this thing more than anything i've owned before. i'll never get rid of it unless i total it "god forbid"

everyone else is a good 50+ mins away from me with the next speed.

its truly a unique car, and to this day I haven't seen an orange paint I've liked as much as the spicy. 2nd place would have to be nissans burnt orange.

yea, the spicy has a unique pearl that catches everyones attention when they see it lol. i get it all the time.

Have to say I think the MSP is great. I got mine with 20k on it for $13400. I put a vibrant exhaust, custommsp intercooler, B&M short shifter, and an upgraded clutch in the car. Cost about 2k more. So for about 16k I got a reliable, sporty looking car that gets me 26mpg in the city 34 on the highway, handles almost as well as my old MR2 Turbo did, has plenty of power, great interior, killer stereo, carries my wife and child, and still gets compliments from strangers almost everyday. I think the MSP is a very well balanced car that just needs to be taken care of and it will be alot of fun for along time.

i have to say i have been skeptical lately about how long she will go and if my money is better spent on getting something else. All in all i really love this car. Great looks handles amazing and decent power. I get people saying things about it all the time as well. I still have not decided to keep it or upgrade to ms3 yet. i know if i get rid of her i will miss her lots. if i am true to her she best be to me also. keep them coming the more i read the more i realize how much i love the msp!

I agree but I just don't think car should have ever had a turbo. Mazda basically made a kinda cool car out of a bottom of the line econo car. It's like a barowed (sp) parts car. Nothing was really ment to go together. I feel the MS3 is a bit better thought out and a more complete package and a purpose built car.

I have only had mine about 7 months, but it really grew on me. I didnt wanna part with it after I test drove it. Have plans, but budget is currently kinda tight. This car is a good learning experience for me, Plus you guys are cool! An MSP comes with its own club of other owners!

i really enjoy mine even though i haev had a ton of issues. Cracked front glass, hydrolocked engine, bad sub, bad headunit, bad rear suspension. Almost all was replaced under warrenty though. She still has some hesitation and isnt as fast as the other cars out nowadays but it is a great car none the less. I am always happy when I drive it. Its just not often because I travel for work non stop :(

that is exactly right!
best part about owning both of my MSPs was learning about cars in general, as well as all the friends i made.
