I was wondering if anyone else on here owns and drives other sport compacts besides their Mazda? What is it? What do you like about that car? Your dislikes? I have an 03 Sentra SE-R and I like the power of the 2.5l under the hood and I like the looks. Sporty and aggressive looking. My dislikes are the cheapy made interior, crappy paint, and how loud the car is at hwy speeds.

There's similar threads to this. I didn't like the seats in my Talon as they didn't hold me very good, so I replaced them with some momo's. I added a ton of sound deadening to the car to make it quieter. This included underspray in the fender wells, dynomat over the fender wells and fabric insulation between sheet metal and on the back of every plastic panel. I was running 12.8's with it last year. Now since I've ported my head, and done a few other things I'm hoping for low 12's while still having stock internals, the balance shafts, the stock turbo, and the stock smic. I'm trying to make the car more comfortable as I make it faster. My final goal is mid to high 11 second street car and to get a better suspension, either JIC or Tein. I auto-x the car just as much as I drag race it, so I'm trying to make it a best all around car. The Mazda is just a daily driver for me with a few minor things. I still can't believe how many cars want to race the Protege.

i have a civic del sol as a daily driver and also an is300. Not sure if the IS qualifies or not.

I have a turbo charged 95 ford escort gt, same chassie as the first gen protege. I love the car to death. I did a JDM 323 gtx motor swap. I am still having some problems with tuning but it is fun when i do get t drive it.

my wife has a titanium 04 civic ex

i really like the new look of the civic, sporty and much more aggressive than it was. it feels like it was built very solid. its a peppy little car.
what i dont like is that it isnt a p5

Honda Prelude Type SH

.. some of the forum members here are nasty towards Hondas.. :/
I don't feel very welcomed here, but I'm still a P5 driver. :o

I have a '00 Cavalier Z24 that i drive besides the P5.....I love cruising in the P5, but when it comes to serious racing i have to jump in the Z24 cause that car is a beast!!! The torque in that thing is rediculous......the reason i love it so much is that no one expects it when i roll up on em, they just think its a "slow" cavalier.

I'm Honda Friendly. I use to have an 95 Honda Accord Coupe LX. I would love to trade the SE-R in for an 04 Civic EX Coupe with the Factory Performance package.

only have the pr5 right now...well my wife has a 6spd TSX

previous cars i've owned...and sold last year to save money for other endeavors

Prelude > Protege

Don't worry. (thumb)

I have my P5 of course, and a 2004 Subaru WRX. The only mods to it so far are the STi strut tower brace, factory boost gauge, factory short shifter and a HKS turbo timer. =) I like it a lot. The seats are a lot better than in the P5. I also have the RX7 Turbo II, which will be alive again soon. ;) New engine getting dropped in!

My wife wants a Scion Xb instead of her Mini S we've been waiting for for 8 months. The Xb is about as compact as you can get!

i would take the cooper s over the xB, but thats IMO the xB is too much of a cube for me, and i thought the element was bad. i cant wait for the tC though

i'd still pass on a mini cooper until it gets a real bmw engine...the brazilian built chrysler 1.6 liter inline 4 engine is not not a speciality of DCX...let em stick to hemi v8s...bmw is supposed to put a 2.0 bmw engine so the mini will be a much better car when that happens...mini also weighs 2700lbs-2800lbs...same as a pr5!

I have a 5spd 92 n/a MR2 Hardtop (very rare).

Mods: H&R springs and KYB AGX 4 way adjs. Brand new leather seats and door panels. New floor mats!

Likes: The size of it. The looks. Handling is good (quite different for the Pro tho) Rear wheel drive. Sliding the rear out. The fact that there is NO power equip on it whatsoever. Its the lightest MR2 made.

Dislikes: Not a turbo......................................................................yet!

Rumor is that the Cooper S will be getting a 260 hp Pugeot engine and maybe awd. This will be after a body update scheduled for 2006 or 2007. Problem is that the MCS up here is $30,000, and the Scion is about $16,000.

My wife did say that she liked the Tc better, so maybe we'll look at that. 160hp 160 tq. I'll make her drive the Speed till then. I'm gonna be on a bike all summer if I can.

And get the optional supercharger to bring the hp to 200hp.
