Who is sporting the Corksport Exhaust

Who has the Corksport exhaust? What do you think? Does it sound good? Good gains?

I have it, definetally good gains. The only thing i don't like about it is the fact that it is loud as hell...really drones on the freeway. It's bearable w/ the silencer in though but you feel the power loss then as well. For the money though I don't think you can beat it.

It's loud? Can you hear people talk when you are in the car? Also, does the system come with the silencer?

I have it, my resonator cracked. Its a widely known "problem".

Besides that I absolutely love it.

Were you using the motor mounts that they suggest or the factory mounts?

no silencer does not come w/ it. $25ish extra from corksport. I had the exhasut on my car for about 10K miles w/ no motor mounts and have had no problems w/ the resonator cracking, just installed front and rear MM about 2K miles ago so looks like i lucked out. It all depends on how worn your stock mounts are. My friend got the corksport and cracked his resonator in no time and we noticed before we put it in that his motor moved around a lot.

As far as the noise, on the freeway it gets real loud at about 80 mph but you can cruise at 70 comfortably. It's a relatively quiet ride from about 3,000rpm - 5,000rpm. but i'm with officer farva, i love it.

its an awesome exhaust for the money but the resonator might spilt if you dont have awr motor mounts. Its not to loud, i just sold mine and replaced with a 3" exhaust...(cabpatch)

Its loud. If you have a girlfriend her and her friends will b**** about the loudness. I've had it for about a month now and am kind of tired of the sound. I have to get the silencer.

As for power output I did not notice anything myself. Butt dyno is out of order I guess.

I was indeed using the AWR mounts they suggest, however, I had one of the first series of this exhaust... I've had it a while, and it just now crapped out.

I e-mailed Corksport, I expect they'll help me out.

I also have it. Good sound but like everyone else said, loud. No problems except fitment issues, it kinda rubbs on the rear skirt. and it WILL MELT if you don't lower it some. Mine melted a little until i fixed the problem. i got too lazy after putting it on with just two mazda jacks in my friends duplex driveway. but it didn't melt it too bad visibly. For the money a great buy, and the guys at CS are dank as hell

Its a great exhaust, especially for the price.
