like i said.. 04-05, i believe 06 was when it was implemented into the 2.0s Unless I could be totally wrong in which case HOORAY i have vvt =D But not sure if i feel any of it. i used to have a vtec and coudln't tell if it was kicking in or not -.-

all the vvt is gonna do is give a little tq in mid to low rpm, and it activates sooner or later depending on how you drive

agreed, but the cosworth cams dont loose vvt do they?

Cosworth does not make cams for us, those are the ford versions (not the same motor) which dont have vvt, if want to do that you have to replace the head with a newer ford along with other things

I think they need to be regrinded or something like that. There's a thread on another forum about it. And yeah there's no cam that doesn't make you lose vvt yet.

i think someone by the name of xenon929 made 600+whp on stock cams but he was boosted not sure its been awhile and he has a 2.3 not that makes a diff when it comes to the head
