It also seems there were some small pdi's for moisture in the headlights, and something about the nav system taking an hour to initalize!

I'd assume the pdi for the headlights and navi would also effect the standard 6's as well though.

I haven't heard anything about those, but found out something interesting on the 06 6's yesterday. All the electronic functions for the car are now controled through one BIG CPU. If you unhook the battery you have to take the car down to the dealer to get your auto-windows reprogrammed. They won't work until you do! I found this hilarious! Also because of this new CPU you currently can't install a command start because there's nothing to hook it up to.....lol

Give it about 5 years and we'll all need a laptop and computer science degree just to start our cars in the morning!

I get to go down to texas? in Nov. to do the test track thing for the MS6. The way it sounded its basically a bunch of people beating on them around a real track. Then learning about all the interesting things about them.

Wow...that really sucks. Alot of people doing mods start by removing the neg cable as a first step (for safety reasons). I wonder if the stuff that has to be reprogrammed is listed in the FSM's.

Btw Rainman...since there was some negative news on the MPS 6...here's some positive goodies to counter it.

The cooling and lubrication systems of the MPS 6 have been buffed up something fierce over the standard 6i!

Here's a list of some of the changes vs the standard 6i (I'm building a list slowly on 6tech).

Coolant System
1) Increased volume from 7 qts to 8.5 US qts
2) Radiator dimension change (appears thicker), possibly additional cores.

Lubrication System
1) Oil visosity recommendation now 5w-30.
2) Oil Filter Change now 6 qts (up from 4.5)
3) Total lubrication [DRY] volume = 6.8 qts (up from 4.8!!!!)
4) Oil cooler added/coolant based
5) Synthetic oil standard? (not 100%, requirement image isn't fully loading)

Engine
1) Ignition BTDC 10% (up from 8%)

Hey, I'm trying to do my part to be the first one to post their MS6 in their driveway. However, whoever the f__k is transporting mine down from T.O. is not doing anything to help my situation.

I had a false alarm driving home from my son's football practice this evening. I saw a car transporter stopped down the street from the Mazda dealership (two blocks from my house), so I drove by again. Damn thing was full of Nissans and NO MS6s!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow. What a wonderful end of week present that would be. A brand new black-on-black MS6 for me with a whole weekend in which to drive it!
