Who has done a balance shaft delete? What kit is best? Please help!

Just like the title says. I'm doing a BSD soon with the next oil change and want to know what kit is the best? Will the quality of the kit range from manufacturer to manufacturer or are they all pretty much the same?

Going for most gains here....

I am currently in the process of rebuilding my engine and am putting in the Cosworth BSD, along with a Ranger Crank to get rid of the big sprocket on the crank shaft. The gains are that you are removing about 6lbs of rotational mass (more if you put in the Ranger Crank) and you can also add in about an extra quart of oil once the 15lb monster is released from the botom of the block. You will however have to remove the oil pan completly.

What is this "big sprocket" you speak of? Does it run the balance shaft assembly?
