Is this a Canadian spec thing or what?

I found a direct reference (and picture no less) in the repair manual and got all sorts of excited

Rechecked the spec list online and it's not listed on any US model.

Looks like there's a parts list I'm going to be getting together ;)

Thanks for any help.

Rear Ventilator

If you are referring to the centre console with a rear ventilator, no this is not a Canadian model item, to my knowledge. I saw diagrams of different centre consoles that in a workshop manual someone kindly posted.
There are under-the-seat heater ducts for the rear passenger's feet, though.

Yeah, I've been digging into it - the M6 isn't the same car overseas, and this is a north-american manual. From what I can tell (so far) the auto-light module is the only thing different in yours compared to mine.

My theory is that this is an unimplemented trim (that may still surface). For a while I thought it may be something from the Fusion or Milan, but they aren't using this platform yet :/

It would sure be preferable to have that over the foot cozy ones . . .

By the auto-light, are you referring to headlights (daytime running lights) - highbeams at reduced power that are on until the regular lights are used?
I suspect a few items are different on the inside, such as the fabric/suede seats that are not available here.
On the outside there are some packaging differences, all colours are available with all transmissions so my light ice blue manual GT isn't available in the US.
Our 4 cylinder GT's come with 18" wheels and the GS's come with 17" (the same as the US). We only have the two trim levels with one principal option package in each, aside from automatic and nav.
For more check-out mazda.ca to see how they are packaged for a different market. Also interesting to check out the Mazda Mexico site for a third variant of a car coming off the same assembly line.

While you're here:
Which lights illuminate when you're in DRL mode?

I meant the "auto light/windshield wiper module" -- it contains the logic for the automatic headlights, wipers and DRL (in Canada) --- I was trying to get a price on one, but I'm guessing $450 wholesale and upwards of $900 MSRP.

I'm still new to the Mazda network and sort of suffering from lack of info. I had TONS of online and mail order connections (actual dealers) so pretty much anything Honda was up for grabs and the prices were always good.

Everyone's "online catalog" for Mazda is 2008 or earlier *grumble*
