Who all does "freebie" sites?

I'm a veteran, 1400 worth of swag received, waiting on another 5500 bucks worth. I've done 4 of the freepay sites (originators, owners of freeipods.com, freepsps.com, etc.) as well as two others, and so far I've gotten a 4th gen 20 gig ipod, a 2nd gen 4 gig ipod mini, a 1 gig shuffle, a 512 mb shuffle, a psp, and a 27" Sony Wega. On the way I have a Vespa ET2 Scooter, A Sony Plasma TV (which translates to a 2500 dollar check for new goodies), and I'm about to finish a site for an ibook. I saw the freeipod thread on here, interested to see how that goes. Anyway, who does em, who's gotten stuff, who thinks it's a big ol' scam, all that?

I've tried only one... the original ipod one. Never got the 5 total needed, still need 3 more. Seem the link in my sig :(

Sucker friends into doing it, that's how I got everything up until the things I have coming. Much easier if you're a freshman in the dorms though.

I'm a fresh, but not in the dorms yet haha. I figured I would have 3 completed offers in no time once I put up the $15 incentive in my sig... but no one has come through yet. Anyone reading this... $15 in your paypal account if you complete. That simple.

15 bucks would be a steal for a freeipod ref these days. Not to rain on your parade, but they go for 30-40 bucks on freebie forums, mainly because freakin' everybody has done that site. I've switched to sites where you do it all yourself, anywhere from 6-10 offers, and some persistance, and you have a much better deal.

So why cant you just create fake emails through yahoo, aol, google, hotmail, etc,etc.. and just use those to reference back to yourself?

The legit sites check ip addresses, shipping info for the offers, names used, all that. It's damn near impossible to scam them.

The only reason im asking is because im short 1 friend. W

hy cant you use IP bouncers? What do you mean when you say shipping info, for me or the references?

If you get turned down for the card can you still do it?

hey hyper. if there is one for a nice hdtv let me know. also maybe you can help me get one. I'm tired of my circa 1988 20" tv and dont have enough money to get a nice tv:D

Everyfreegift.com has a sony 30" HDTV for doing 6 offers, or you can go my route and do the plasma deal (they end up sending you a 2500 dollar check, you can get a good hdtv for less than half that).

I've got:

Sony PSP
Nintendo DS
19" Sony LCD
20GB iPod
1GB Shuffle

I stopped doing the s*** because the offers got worse and worse, making it too hard to try to get stuff. most of the places are shady, and the ones that arent are chock full of people who already have done the offer.

for example, if something has like 20 refs needed...the first 10 people you ref are open to plenty of options, then the next five have less and more expensive offers, while the last five have like 200-300 dollar hosting or other stupid offers.

plus, ive done just about every decent offer out there that doesnt cost too much for other people and you cant do them twice, making it harder to trade refs.

i did almost all my crap through www.refstop.com.

they also use a real e-mail address, such as one from an ISP. they will not let you use a free one from hotmail, yahoo, etc.

I'm actually trying my first one now. trying to get a Treo 650.. we'll see what happens

You can use a free email account, I use my gmail one for most of them now, but you have to verify it, and they have their checks in order. As for a free tv, check out freeflatscreens.com, 8 referrals, I got my parents a 27 inch wega flat screen, fantastic tv, not too hard to complete either.
