Ok, so yesterday I was driving back to work from lunch and noticed white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I parked the car, turned it off, and got out and saw the white smoke trickling out of the exhaust (kinda like a smoking gun). I waited for about 10 minutes and turned the car back on to see if it was still gonna smoke and of course, it did. For some reason, I started thinking about antifreeze in the oil, but I didn't smell any antifreeze in the smoke exhaust. I'm gonna change the oil and flush the radiator and hope that the oil doesn't resemble "chocolate milk". But if I do have antifreeze in the oil and I have to change out the head gasket, how much would something like that cost? I mean, I've never taken my car to a mechanic because I've read too many horror stories on different forums and always ended up figuring out how to do it myself. With something like this, however, I'm not too comfortable with taking apart my engine, looking around for problems, and reassembling it. How does something like this even happen with a 2007 vehicle anyway? I'm not Speed Racer in my car or anything.
