Which tire?

I'm getting new tires and I really have no experience with them at all. I've found a few good ones as far as I can tell. Can anyone give me input on these:

Sumitomo HTRZ II
Yoko A520
Kumho 712
Firestone SZ50
Bridgestone Potenza s-03

I know the firestone and the bridgestone are better than the other three (and more expensive!). How do these compare to the stock Dunlops? I'm trying not to spend too much money, but I don't wanna skimp. I have a few friends who have told me to stay away from the kumho... Dunno tho. I've been leaning towards the Sumi's. Any thoughts?

Also, can anyone here get me a good deal on any of these?

There is a current thread over this same discussion on the Grass Roots Motorsports board. They are debatin over the Falken Azenis and the Sumitomo(whatever) tires. The others are basically a longer life tire. Looks like the concensus is for the Falken Azenis as they are a stickier tire and have better wet weather traction. I'm going to be putting them on at my next change once the Dunlops go bad. I hope they can compare to the Dunlops though. They rock!
Sorry to add another to the mix, but hope it helps..
BTW, check out grassrootsmotorsports.com. their forums are a GREAT source of info.

I just bought the Yokohama Prada Series 2 - Nice tire with a 300 Treadwear.

They also have a rubber strip around the outside which sort of helps our rim scraping problem.

I'd go with the A520's. Good tread wear vs performance. Nice wet traction and good price. As for the Azenis, they don't come in any size we can fit on 17's. They only come in 225/45 and 245/45 and both of those are will definately rub.

I haven't looked at other sites too much, but www.tirerack.com has reviews on a lot of the tires they carry by actual owners. Keeping the same rims(and possibly powdercoating them when I get new tires) will be a consideration for me as I don't want to spend so much money as to be broke on tires. :)

I have the Firehawk SZ-50 on my Mustang. Love them.
I have the Potenza SO-3 on my Shelby CSX. Love them.
I have the Potenza RE-730 on my MP5. Love them.

I have had EXCELLENT experience with all the Bridgestone/Firestone performance tires on my cars. I get a lot of life out of them, handle good and ride good. I haven't ridden on the other brands you listed so I can't compare personally. But I do know compared to the BFG, Goodyear and Michellin performance tires I've owned, I'll never use anything else.
