I was just wondering what company I should buy a carbon fiber hood from, which is the most reliable, best looking?

well the DGm one is grreat quality but way over priced ... and APC which every one says is a P.O.S which is totaly wrong IMO .. since the last kid that jsut posted a pict of his is ..built very very well and looks butter with the down slopes to it .. and is alot cheaper ... then you have the Wings West hood which is a combo of both .. Great quality and super great looks and i am really not sure the price or if it is officially availible yet but you cant go wrong with that one for sure .. it all depends on the look your going for i guess

I'm looking to buy a hood by next week as well, I've done a little noticing...
DGM is by far the best looking hood, but yeah it's pricey, but that's what you get for name brand. Might go well on a list along with your DGM carbon fiber eyebrows, and DGM carbon fiber spoiler.
the wingswest one via protege5online.com I think is the cheapest shipped, but only by like, four bucks.
Fiberimages you can get via MMRUSA.com, it seems nice enough, no DGM logo on the hood or anything so it's as close to stock as you can go. second cheapest.
APC hood don't like the look of at all, screws up the curves on the car, so I haven't even priced it.
As far as I know that's lal there is, I may end up going with the DGM, unless Mitch from protege5online.com comes through with a fiberimages hood cheaper than MMRUSA, I believe he used to be a fiber images dealer.

WW is VERY VERY expensive -- most expensive of the group... and will let rain fall directly onto your valve cover -- not good IMHO
APC -- i just posted pics of mine --- AMAZING quality, I like the looks of it ... a little more style than a plain stock looking hood ... and I picked it up for only $540.59 shipped to NJ

the reason for a carbon fiber hood is making the car lighter, good looks are just a bonous dgm is the only one who makes a complete cfh all the others is fiberglass with carbon fiber overlay. thats why it cost more i got mine for 700, well worth it. you put it next to a apc and there is no comparison. for those that like the wings west hood, you got to remebe that all that s*** that gets all over your car like salt and dirt is going to get all over your engine, it is going to be a pain in the ass to keep clean.

DG has a CF support frame?
I know alot of companies make a fiberglass top with a CF overlay ... none of the ones mentioned above, even the APC, are like that ... the top is FULL CF
As for "no comparison" its all in the eye of the beholder. Ive seen DGM hoods and the CF isnt any better than that on the APC or FI hoods.

Of the hoods I've seen, I'm gonna have to agree with the general consensus - the DGM one is leagues better than anyone else's (in both functionality and styling).
Now, if they would only make it affordable...
