Which brand is the best for lowering the ms6?

If you cannot afford or don't want to shell out the money for coilovers, H&R springs for the MS6 are also a good choice. You get the lowered, sporty look. It also greatly reduces body pitch between shifts and body roll in the corners.

I've discussed this in several threads. The H&Rs, RPM Street, and RPM Sport are the only ones I know of that are tuned for the MS6. All other brands recommend you use the V6 Mazda6 springs as a substitute. They'll fit, but the damping force isn't made for the extra weight of the car.

quick thread jack. How much does it cost on average for a shop to install springs? I have H&R's sitting in my room but I don't have a garage / tools atm.

Don't have any friends with metric sockets or air tools?

It'll most likely cost about 3-4 hours of labor plus the alignment. Some shops won't do it if you don't buy the springs from them either. You're probably looking at $300 as a good estimate.
