Whic of your previous cars do you miss the most?

LOL. By that time The motor had sat in the basement for over a year. With 2 kids I didn't have the time to install it. I still have what is left of the vic, a mostly rusted shell with a blown tranny, ragged out 240,000 mile 5.0 ,(which still runs pretty good) a nicely geared rear w/ posi, and a whole bunch of stock vic parts!

Besides, if all that stuff happened differently I wouldn't be driving the P5!

There's nothing wrong with getting married-just make sure that she changes the frigging oil in her car!

I've never had nicer stuff in my life since I've been married.

the wife is uber-cool. She didn't freak when I told her I bought a 93 RX-7 to replace our brand new P5.....she just asked if she could drive it and how long it would be before I blew it up!!

dirty b****!!

My wife has been really cool with the car situation. I've dumped 6K in a POS turbo mustang that I'm currently parting out and losing my ass on. She's not real happy with the money spent-but she's damn happy it's going away.

I miss my Buick Grand Nationals the most. Those were a blast.
Easy to make more power. Lots of good parts available.

I miss my 92 Ford Taurus. The most comfortable car i ever owned!
That and everyone in front of me on the highway would think i was a cop and quickly move over to the next lane! :D

But then again...i miss my Ford T-bird just as much...too many good times in that car!

I miss my '92 mustang gt the most. torque monster!

5.0's are one of the best sounding engines on earth.........errr 4.9

I miss my '82 Mazda RX-7 with 13B Streetport and Holly Projection. Sold it years ago when I needed college money.

My Supra TT...may she rest in pieces :) Well actually she's been rebuilt by her new owner...my M Roadster would be next...would have kept her if I hadn't been stupid and gotten a 2000 instead of waiting for an 01 or 02..... :( Loved the car and the handling, but needed to sell her before she depreciated even more.....Hope to be replaced by something "nicer" this summer!

Hmmm...lemme see, an 80-something Plymouth Caravelle, a 1995 Dodge Neon, and a 2001 Ford Focus ZTS.

I miss the Neon the most. The suspension was just right, all she needed was some 16's. But then again, at 36,000 miles it burned a quart of oil between changes -- it held just over 4 qts with the filter. Service manager told me that was "in spec," I then asked him if Chrysler knew how much of a piece of sh*t their engine was.
Once took on a mid-80's Camaro and dusted him -- a true 7 second car out of the box. 150hp in a 2400 lb car. But it would have fallen apart in another year or so.

My Caravelle had 80-something thousand miles on it and didn't burn any oil!

Anyway, woulda kept the ZTS if it was a manual. Just needed some stiffer suspension and a body kit. My only beef with the P5 is the wheel gap -- nothing that a set of Eibach's won't fix.

I've had a VW Rabbit (sucked) 2 Civics, and Grand Prix, a Precidia mx-3, Acura EL. Of all, I miss my 93 SI (EX in the U.S).
However, I do love the P5

1991 Audi 200 quattro 20v. Miss it a lot, but don't miss working on it all the time, or dumping money into it. But REALLY miss driving it - the power, comfort, all-wheel drive. And the look on the SHO drivers who thought their car was fast :)

My MSP is my 3rd car.

1st: 1984 VW Rabbit GTI. Silver with navy blue interior. The car was a go cart. Weird gearing though that topped out at about 160 kmh. I had it lowered with Neuspeed Sport Springs, Boge shocks, Neuspeed stress bar, and it had the VW teardrop wheels (until they got ripped off).
I bought it on my 18th b-day for $1500. It was on 3 bald tires and the donut when i got it. 145,000 kms, had hideous louvres (sp) on the rear window. A Craig pullout stereo.
It broke all the time, CV joints, exhaust, you name it. I did learn how to work on cars from it though. By the time I sold it 5 years later it had 190,000 kms on it. I got $1500 for it.

2nd: 1990 Integra LS 4 door: White with Navy interior. Bought it with 62,000 kms on it. Constantly needed body work, I ended up dropping it with Neuspeed Springs, Tokico shocks, Lightspeed intake and strut bar, Prothane bushing kit, custom exhaust and a Dynomax muffler, 4 inch gopher cannon, It went pretty well, and looked pretty good IMO. I sold it to my little brother when i bought the MSP, and he has since wrecked it. It had 195,000 km's on it after 8 years of use. I saw it all busted in the driveway when i went home for Christmas and man it hurt to see it that way.

I loved them both, but I probably miss the GTI more though because it has been so long since i drove it. I would probably say it was a POS if i drove it now.

Good times.

Just messin with you ;). You probably won't ever roll up on a car like that, since there are only about 800 of them in the US. That's why parts were so damn expensive.

Stock they were 217hp and 220lb-ft at 1850rpm. Simple chip upgrade and you were at 270hp and 285lb-ft. Different chip, plus new manifold and bigger turbo and you were at 340hp. The engine was just nuts.

i miss all of them

89 Honda Civic SI from 96-97
98 Honda Accord EX-V6 from 98-99
92 Honda Civic DX from 99-00
89 Chevrolet Tracker from 01-02
93 Honda Civic DX from 02 - total lost
03 Mazda Protege5 from 03 - present

I miss my 82 RX-7 :'( ....well, actually I still own it, but it's been in storage for over 5 years now, it leaks oil while running like no tomorrow (lit on fire on my twice....got lucky it didn't roast on me). I'm waiting 'til I have the $$ to really rebuild her right..w/ a 13B turbo'd, wide body, rims & tires, better brakes, etc etc...

I miss my '98 Jeep Cherokee Sport the most. After I had given it a 3" lift and ran some 34" General Grabber tires on it, it started to feel little sluggish. I added an AccuratePower 4.6L Stroker kit to the 4.0L straight-six and not even 2 months later, I complimented it with AccuratPower's Supercharger kit. My little Jeep dyno'd with 294hp and 370 lb/ft of torque after that. So much fun beating fox bodies at the track with mud slingin out of my tread blocks... I really miss it, but then I drive my protege and forget all about it for a while again.

I kinda miss my '93 Isuzu Amigo. It had no HP, 2WD, and a crappy Manual Tranny, but it was a fun little "Sport Ute". I really miss my '93 Kawasaki Ninja 650R... I wish I hadn't crashed on HWY9 in Saratoga, CA.

I hate to sound cliche... but my P5 is probably the most fun car I have owned. I only wish that it had a few more ponies under the hood. At least it sounds great with the Injen CAI :-) Not to mention all the HP the Xelderx Billet antenna and DaveB Gauge Rings add.
