where you guys located....

I love it when you suburanites, Rep The Chi. Then I ask "Ohh what neighborhood are you in?" and get .....Schaumburg as an answer.

I think globally its easy to lump them in. not everyone in the world (English speaking) knows where Arlington Heights is, but they do know chicago. when I went to school in Iowa no one new what the **** or where Lake Zuric was, but if you said chicago they new, and then at NIU if you said chicago they wanted to know what 4 corners.

to clarify just for you, about 2 blocks from Grand and Harlem, (which is still chicago) LOL

i for one have no problem living away from the city, and at the same problem have no problem having it within a hour's ride from me. sort of like the adage "keep your friends close and enemies closer" to me.

That's exactly where I first realized that people did that. I went to NIU.

Elmwood park is nice, My Cuz lives there. Your comment just triggered my thoughts, it wasn't directed to you, since I know where Elmwood Park is.

i love it how easy we got off topic on this thread lol

You'll notice that we here on the Illinois board suffer from bad ADD/ADHD, and tend to get off topic pretty fast, I've seen us get off topic within the second post...actually some even within the first...Myself included.
