Where to tap a sub with Bose system

I've been looking around for a while now and can't find an answer as far as the best place to tap into the Bose system.
I'm installing a single sub with a line level capable amp, but can't seem to find an answer to this possible frequency cut from the HU. Would tapping into the sub input on the Bose amp be better than the front speaker inputs?
Has anyone checked to see what kind to frequency range these have?
Common sense would tell me the sub input should be a better choice for a sub application than possibly attenuated front speaker inputs.

Also, looking for ideas on where to install the relatively small (12X6") amp

Thanks

I am not 100% positive but when I still had the stock Bose deck I tapped into one of the speaker wires near the deck because the deck is not amped therfor u would get a clean signal. Hell I didn't even need a loc cause it worked so good. I just tapped the speaker wire and cut some RCA cable ends and spliced it onto them. It was very easy. Lmk if u need some more help.

If my gramar sucks Blaim the iPhone damn auto correct

Thanks for that, I did read the general audio how to that said you could tap the high or low, but then I read about the freq cut and I don't want that.
I'm glad to hear that your solution worked, I'd like to hear from some that have tapped the speaker output line level to see how it worked, or really why not tap the sub output if there is such a thing.
