Where to Order my Cpe Catback!?

Hey guys as you know there are a couple of places from where to order The CPE Catback exhuast system. Which place is the cheapest right now?? To my findings i saw the Rpm store for $575.95. Anyone know of a place that would be cheaper than that? Also i notice that you can get alot of extra features with the exhuast. Any advice on that?? what do they mean by Primary muffler and addiontal muffler. Theres a 14in Oval or a bolt on/removable 6in Quad Core option from that store. But on Street unit they make it more confusing with 14in quad core muffler, then they have Axeback options?!!? where you can chose either straight pipe, 6in muffler or both.

Srry but not a pro when it comes to all these exhuast features. All im looking for is the best performance.PLease advise

I think I may be able to help you out with the options, but maybe someone else who doesn't work for cp-e can give you their feedback on which options you might want

I think you may be getting confused with all the different terminology on the various websites. Let me see if I can break it down for you a little better.

We basically offer a single outlet catback exhaust, and it comes as three pieces. The first piece of the catback exhaust can come with or without a hybrid 14" resonator/muffler. The second piece of the exhaust system has no options. The third section of the exhaust can be had with or without a 6" hybrid resonator/muffler as well.

Now, you're asking which combination to buy? It depends on your sound preference. If you want something louder than stock and do a lot of highway driving, then I suggest you buy both muffler options (both the 6" and 14" mufflers) to help reduce drone. If you like a little rasp to your exhaust sound, then you might try the single 14" muffler, and forget about the rear 6" muffler. Finally, if you want a 'no holds barred' sound and performance, then I suggest you don't get any resonators at all, but be forewarned...THAT COMBINATION WILL BE LOUD! (rockon)

lol wow Jordon very nice explaination!! Thanks alot for clearing that up! Looks like im going to go with the One 14inch Muffler, i would love to have no muffler but i think that might be too loud for the Cops. I don't need any more tickets from them!.

hye guys i just got my Cpe- Catback exhuast from **********, and i was wondering is it suppose to be dirty inside the pipes.. there is like this black gooey dirty inside, could my exhuast be used?? or does it come like that?? Im srry i just very paronid when i get new s***, and i expect everything to be shinning and clean!!

Yup, you got a new exhaust system, I swear

The stuff you're seeing is the mandrel lube, plasma cutting slag, and welding soot. All these things leave their mark on the inside of the exhaust system during fabrication. We could clean it all out for you, but it'd probably add another hour of labor per batch, which would increase the final price to you. All that junk just burns off after the first hundred miles or so of driving, so it'll be outta there after a few wide-open throttle rips anyway.

Anwyay, sorry about the mess p ) but I hope you enjoy the exhaust system otherwise!

What a coincidence... That's where I got my mazda muffler too... I can't really say anything about their delivery quality except FAST!!!...
