Ok so im getting a kind of clunking noise from my car...pretty sure its coming from the rear cause i only hear it when the back tires hit a bump. and i want to put it up on my lift in the garage(10,000 pound Rotary post lift) but i was looking under the car and am not sure where to put the lift arms at...im use to working on trucks with a big frame down there to lift from...so i would appreciate any help from anyone with expierience, Thanks!

The sills have a seam on the bottom. Near the ends by the weels you will see a notch. Put a 2X4, or if your lift has rubber blocks, just postition them on the inside of the seam right there.

Sway bar bolt!

Be sure to check them both because many of use including me were able to remove it by hand.

Just a tip for you is to use a allen wrench to hold the head of the bolt and a open end box wrench that is 17mm to turn the nut. I was able to do it with out the allen wrench but some have have the bolt spin on them when doing this. Buy some red loctite as well but before you do all this inspect the bolt and be sure it wasnt damaged or you will want to leave it alone and bring it in to the dealer.

If the threads are damaged you cant tighten the nut so look at it good and leave it loose if its messed up. My dealer wouldnt do anything since I fixed it myself and they just looked it over and said it was fine which I had figured any how. However my nut had only backed out about 1-2 turns and the others who had damaged bolts had the nut at the tip of the bolt which allowed the sway bar to rub on the threads.

Wow...ill go out and check that...your talking about the bolts that bolt the bar to the endlinks correct?

DO a search on here there is a thread with pics of it.

But yes you are talking about the same bolts/endlinks. Check the nuts but you will have to lift the ass end of the car up first. There is an area to jack it up in the middle of the axle at the rear.
