Where to get steel winter wheels

I did a search around here but couldn't find the answer I was looking for. I'd like to get a set of winter tires with el cheapo steel wheels for winter driving. All the online places I've looked only list alloy wheels. I've visited a couple local tire shops and they say it's not possible.

I don't care whether the wheels/tires are 205/50/17 or 205/55/16. I just want cheap wheels with decent winter tires.

I thought about using my OEM wheels for winter and aftermarket ones for summer, but the cost is a bit high (~1000). I'd rather spend the cash on a better tire and go cheap on the rim.

Where is a good place to find steel rim & tire packages online and/or local (preferably mounted and balanced)? Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find the answer in a search...

I'm also having a hard time finding cheap winter tires for my MSP. The local shops all suck, they just tell me they don't have anything that would work. I'm looking for alloys myself as I couldn't bear to see steelies on my car. I see 17" wheel and tire packages in mags for $450, but they don't fit the MSP and are summer tires.

If anyone knows a decent price wheel and tire package for winter, please let me know. (I'm looking for alloy 16" or 15" prefered to keep cost down.) has to FIT MSP!!! of course.

I realize that tirerack offers seasonal packages, but I'm trying to get a head start and am just looking for a nice cheap set of 16's. Tirerack doesn't even offer a size 16" wheel for the MSP. again anyone out there with cheap 16"ers that fits the MSP. Also, could you tell me if the Pro5 wheels would make a good winter wheel for the MSP in your opinion?

Wal-Mart has the cheapest rims arround...

Would the regular Protege sedan wheels work on an MSP, I'm pretty sure P5 wheels fit just fine. Laserblue try hitting up your local junkyard and seeing if they have a new wreck in.

that's a great idea, you get rep points.

us 3s guys would need to find a 3i or something (aren't the pros 15 stock?) b/c we can't go lower then 16...

P5/ES wheels would be a better choice than tuner wheels because the offset allows for good fender and strut clearance when coupled with a tire that's not too wide. 195/50/16 is the stock tire size, but 195/55/16 would be best for you MSP folks for the speedo reading.
