Where to buy Scoshe/Metra harnesses?

Has anyone been able to find the reverse harness that plugs into the factory radio. The Scoshe part # is MA03R and the Metra part # is 71-7903. I've already called Crutchfield and Sounddomain and they don't have it. Thanks in advance.

Vector Audio only lists the "B" version which is speaker wire only. There's no wires for power or illumination on the "B" harness.

damn! i cant even figure out what the point of that would be if you couldnt power the head unit. i cancelled my order (or tried, i sent an email) so does anyone know where to get the full reverse peice?

believe it or not WAL-MART is the national distributor for Scoshe, NO you will not find them in the stores...but they CAN order them for you. Just go to your local store during hours when the MANAGER of the audio department is at work...and talk with them to special order you one. IF they tell you that they can't, find their Scoshe cataloge...and point out the phone number on the back of it....and have them call them....it can be done....I have personally checked into it at my local wally world.

or if you want to pay the shipping then you can call scosche and order it yourself. I did with my harness when they first came out a long time ago. Noone had it and walmart refused to special order anything for me so i said fine ill call and did and they shipped it to me.

interesting email from scosche. i asked them about ordering, and they said i could get their "MA03b, MA03Rb" from them, etc. so heres what i sent back:

"is the "b" version of those harnesses (ma03b and ma03rb) the ones with speaker wires only? i need the ones with power and illumination wires too, as this will hook up to my stock head unit"

their response:

"B just means it comes in a bag It includes everything you are looking for pwr, spker and ill"

well there ya go. i guess im gonna order mine from vector like planned because its a lot cheaper than ordering directly from scosche. unforunately, vector doesnt seem to carry any 30A fuses like suggested for my mrp-f320 amp, but if i remember correctly, 1st mp3 said a 40A and even a 50A would be fine? cause the amp kit im gonna get comes with a 40A.

Well, hopefully you're correct. Sorry for all the confusion if I'm wrong. I just called Wal-Mart and spoke to the auto dept. manager and when she read me the description of the MAO3B & MAO3BR harnesses in her catalog it read "speaker connector". She didn't see the "non B" versions listed in her catalog. I have no idea what to think now. Post back when you receive your harnesses and let me know if they are what we need. Thanks.

hey guys i just got my MA03 and MA03R harnesses from Walmart on special order from Scosche. they sent me the B versions of the harnesses and yes they are in a bag as opposed to the normal blister packaging they are in at wal-mart.

however. upon inspection of the harness, a couple wires are different on the inside part of the harness (where the small pins are located) there are only 2 wires on the harness and 3 wires on the original factory harness. . .i don't have them in front of me right now but from what i remebmer those pins were in a differnt spot. maybe this is because i have an '03?

i also was only able to see this after mazda took my stock changer out for warrantee repaiR (broken display) so this was how i was able to finally see the factory harness.

man it's going to suck not having a radio for a couple days. . . .. . . .. . . ..long 2 hour drive home later this week. . .hope it's back by then
