Flat Rock, Michigan plant

I've been in that plant thanks to my work for the Mustang driveshaft's supplier...

The mustang and the M6 are brothers from the same mother... they're both manufactured at the same time on the same assembly line, it's a great sight!

it's amazing how they can assemble all different models of mustangs and mazda6's at the same time, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they shared a lot of components

^yes, plus the Mercury Milan/Lincoln Zephyr, which are basically higher trimmed Fusions....

that plant is gonna be rockin!

Auto Alliance (Flat Rock plant) only builds the Mustangs and Mazda6's except the Mazdaspeed which is built in Japan

Too bad it's not in Japan. I'm sorry, but I have more faith in the Japanese building a good car than the US

Wheres crossbow and his list? check the Mz3 tsp vs the Mz6 jdm and us. Not that I have anything against them but how long did it take us to see a MS6?

Ya the Mazda3's were built in japan, and they've got a much longer list of problems and issues then the US built 6's. Japan cuts as many corners as US unions do now.

Check the TSB's and recalls. Mazda 6 is the leader in problems.

Nope, your missing the MRI list.

If you don't count the MRI list, the TSB3 has 36 TSB/Recalls (some pretty major)

The 6 (even though its been out a year longer) has 36 TSB/Recalls. If you count the MRI list (which isn't publically available) the 3's leading the pack by a good margin.

You can check the lists yourself at..(All of them, MSP, Recalls, SSP's, MRI's, and TSB's @)

http://www.mazdatechinfo.com

Compare the Recall/TSB lists at
http://www.finishlineperformance.com

To give you an idea of the massive difference between the publically displayed and privately displayed codes..

There are 36 publically available 6 problems, there are 49 total problems if you count all of them (hidden + public). The 3's around 55-60. You'll need to find a dedicated website to get access to them all, or sit there and go through them one at a time after paying 20 bucks on the techinfo site. I don't really care about the 3 (I don't own one), so you'll have to do your own footwork.
