I can't find the horn. I want to change it for a Hella supertone. The original horn sound like a old Tempo, to much Ford like. I hate it. I have install in all my cars Hella horns and they sound great plus they are way more loud that the lame Ford Horn.
Where is the Horn located in the MS3?(omg)

Presumably it's in the same place as it is in the regular 3. If so then it's right behind the left side fog light. Remove the screws/plastic tabs holding the front left plastic baffle in under the bumper and pull it back. It's much easier if you jack up the front of the car.

Several people have installed those behind the grill. Let me know if you need more help.

Horns

I will install them tomorrow if I have time. Possibly have a write up about it with photos, if not during the week end. Thanks for letting me know a possible area. I have install them in 3 of my cars already, should be very easy this time.:)

Here's some pictures from people on another forum. Just FYI, at least two of those are wired up directly to the stock horn wiring without the use of the relay that comes with the supertones. I mean, there is already a relay in the horn circuit. Neither of those people has had any problems with them set up that way.

No Relay at all.

No relay in any of the 4 installs I have done.

I just finished installing double air horns on the MS3. As posted by many before the stock horn is rather wimpy, much to my surprise I found it to be a Fiamm unit, the outside shell very similar to the Freeway Blaster they sell. I installed a Wolo unit from PepBoys, made in Italy, very similar to the same one on my Miata made by Hella, problably the same unit imo. I attached the compressor and ground wire to the original horn bracket, extended the positive wire to the positive terminal on the compressor and mounted the horns in front of radiator, using a metal strap anchored to one of the screws that hold the hood release mechanism. To confirm what has been posted before: the horn is located right behind the driver's fog light, you need to move the spash shield(3 screws), and remove one or both IC air flow runners to work in front of the radiator. Easy job to do and now when I hit the horn button distracted drivers will defenitely pay attention.
