Where do you guys find this stuff?

I'm just lookin around on the mazdaspeed section of the site and seeing some people getting downpipes and exhaust and whatnot where exactly are you guys finding it? Perhaps you should have a vendors section on the site with lists of all the specialized dealers for the different cars on the site (MSP, MP3, P5 etc) I'm looking to pick one up as soon as the dealer gets a couple more in (they told me 2 weeks) and I'm looking to start modding ASAP. I figure the general intake/turboback exhaust/boost controller as you would do as first mods for any turbo vehicle, also as far as technical spec, whats the stock boost on the MSP and what is the safest boost that can be run, I'd rather not be one of the first to blow their motor by pushin the boost a little high. Where would be a good place to start looking for the intake and turboback? Thanks and I look forward to posting more

Scroll to the top of the page, and around the center is the "search" button. Type in different searches such as
Intake
Downpipe
Turbo Timer
Boost Controller

and select it to search the "Mazdaspeed Forum"

You will find many of your answers answered many times over if you do a little investigating.

Many of these topics have been covered very recently.

After you do some searches and still have more specific questions, feel free to ask. We are all very friendly here, we just don't like to answer the same questions over and over.

EDIT: a lot of the stuff having to do with pipes (I.E. downpipes and hard tubing) is mostly custom made right now...just an FYI

yea I figured a search would be a good idea but since there were only 3 pages of threads, on the MSP forum I didn't think it would come up with much. I'm also used to dsmtalk, dsmtuners and other huge boards that have been around for years so typing in something like intake yields 92084902834 results, thanks for the info though

Breakdown:
Dowpipes, still being tested by many and all (at least I think) are custom made right now....have to find a shop that will do it (emissions legality stuff)

Exhausts...after the downpipe, I would think would be a regular Protege exhaust (may be wrong...new to Mazda myself)

Boost controlers (do a search...lots of opinions)

Intakes...also still in the works, but Injen seems to be the closest to production (check the Group Buy section on the main page)

Stock PSI = 6.9psi

Max boost...many diff opinions (do a search), personally I wouldn't go above 9 - 10 psi on stock internals

FYI...there are lots more than just 3 pages on the mazdaspeed forum....go to the bottom of the page and select "from beginning" in the drop down menu in the bottom right corner when at the Mazdaspeed Forum page.
