1.Hey guys i hate to seem like a noob , but where is the best place to buy a mazdaspeed axleback exhaust...
2. if i install this will i void my warrenty
3. hows the sound
4.any one have one for sale
p.s. i did a search but it wasnt what i was looking for

Since no one answered yet, I'll try to help

1.The only way I've seen is trying to find an MSP owner who's getting a new exhaust and buy it from him
2.No and yes, it depends on what breaks and if the exhaust had anything to do with it - so probably no
3.Don't know
4.Not that I know of, check the For sale section and keep on the lookout. You could also post a WTB post on the For Sale section (Want to buy) asking if anyone has one for sale.

Um, let me see here...

1. Dealer...As in Mazda dealer that is authorized to seel Mazdaspeed parts.
2. No, it is a Mazda part sold by the dealer. You won't get the dealer warranty for installation if you do it yourself. But the part itself should have the standard Mazda warranty for similar parts.
3. Not sure, but probably better than stock...
4. Not that i know of.

It's probably a huge ripoff, though. I'd say just wait and buy it from someone here -or if you know someone at the dealership, try to get it at cost.

1) I got mine off of eBay for 175 shipped.

2) If you have it installed by the dealer, your warranty will still be intact.

3) It gets a little bit loud at 4000k RPMs but it sounds great. Around town, it's nice and quiet...until you really step on it. ;)

4) Keep an eye out, and I'm sure one will pop up on this forum soon.

EXACTLY, it's dead quiet until you get on it.

If I can find an exhaust that I like & can afford, I'll sell mine to you.

about how much can i expext to pay at the dealership?
For the exhaust or the install?
Have no idea for the exhaust, but if you're asking about the install, just do it yourself - much cheaper and I really doubt that there are many things that can happen to your car where the problem can be linked to an axleback exhaust.

You can find the exhaust for $199.99 online from discount mazda parts dealers. Make sure you get the one for the P5 and not the sedan as the lengths are different. That's why you can't just take the one off an MSP and put it on a P5.

While the one on the MSP looks much nicer than the one they sell "sport exhaust" expect to pay $500+ for the MSP version that fits a P5.

Noise is minimal, drones at 3500rpm+ and noise does increase noticably when running it with the A/C on versus off.

Warranty shouldn't be voided regardless of where you get it or who installs it. Just insure it's done properly! My HKS exhaust posed no problems to my dealer or my warranty, as it didn't cause the warranty claim problem.

Everyone hide this post from boost...wait im gonna move it to the performance section, im sure hell see it lol.
