I've got about 4,500 miles on them.
Some days I drive nicely, Others I drive it like I stole it.

Trust me do it at home every 2500 and then balance and rotate at the dealer when you do your 5k oil changes.

I just went over this in another thread and I have to tell you if you get down and look at your fronts vs rears its a crazy difference that I didnt expect to see in only 5k miles.

Call me a nub...
But how do I rotate the tires at the house? I can't pop the tire off the rim...

LOL, silly boy!

You dont take the tire of the tim, lol.

Get your jack and wife/mom's jack and put half the car up and go back to front. I got a torque wrench and sockets at Harbo rfreight tools for under $30 total and will do this at home every 2500 and then let the dealer do it with a balance at 5k while doing the oil changes.

And when you are done, adjust the tire pressures. The front and the back should be set different, check your door post sticker.

i had mine rotated and balanced at 4k miles....the out wal gets worn down fast especially if u drive like a shmuck like me sometimes

For really abusive driving 2500 is ok, for normal driving which is what most normal people do; 3000mi per oil change and tires rotated and balanced ever other oil change or 6000 miles. That's most likely what your car dealership will try to sell you also.

I dont abuse my tires but I swear 2500 must be the time to rotate because the difference in my fronts vs rears at 5k easy driving was way too much. I have never burned them out or had it at a track. Only a few times have I got the tires to chirp or taken a turn some what hard.

For me I am doing the 2500 rotation at home then at my 5k oil changes doing a balance and rotation again at the dealer.
