I'm planning on buying/installing them sometime in November. I'm waiting for a good deal too, which I hope to pop up sometime between Halloween and Thanksgiving
I'm hoping I don't have to. It does snow here (rarely) and get below 40, but I'm not sure much of a need I'll have for winter tires. I guess we'll see how it goes.
Anyone else in Atlanta that thinks there's a need for winter or all season tires?
I will be moving to the Ft. Meade area of Maryland, and I am trying to figure out whether I need snows, or just all seasons. Part of the problem though, is that I like to go snowboarding... Any suggestions?
Jay
I hope I didn't thread-jack...here in Prescott, I wait until the first snow...
didnt have to drive the speed in the snow last year, so i dont know how fickle it will be, but i have never had a problem in the snow in FWDs before, so i'll pass. i put all seasons on when i had to dump the stockers, so i'll take my chances with them.
Snow will be arriving within two or three weeks so tires will be going on shortly. I drive my B4000 in the winter and use the MS3 as backup in the winter but both still get snow tires.

You are correct sir. With a few sand bags and winter tires, it does pretty well in the snow. Was driving through 3 feet of snow in a ditch last year and didn't get hung up
