Wheel Bearing question!!

Ok so my car has been making a hum on the road, almost like i got mudders on, gets louder the faster i get from 50-100km/h then is quieter from 100-105 then gets pretty loud from 110 on. also when you crank the wheel to the left so the weight is on the front right wheel it is way louder, when you crank the wheel to the right the sound gets way quieter. So anyways i get a new bearing and pull everything apart press in a new bearing and put everything back together again. Well its still making the same damn sound!!! so did i get a faulty bearing?? or is it something else?

P.S both the tire shop and my mechanic bud said its deff a bearing sound.

HELP!

Also you might've done the wrong side. It happens more often than you would think. I would just do both bearings at the same time.

^This. Sorry man, it seems like this might be the case. I would jack up the car and spin the wheels by hand...you'll most likely hear it if you have a bad bearing on the other side. Canadian gives good advice here: always do them in pairs. I'm assuming you changed the passenger side?

ya changed the pass side since it was the one making noise really bad when you load it, also when i took apart the bearing it was deff starting to fail. Ill lift the car again today and spin both sides and see what the deal is.

This may sound crazy, but are you sure you don't have a rear going as well? It could be that you had a front and a rear going and the front was masking the noise of the rear. If that's the case, it's actually good news, because the rear is easier to do than the front! I would check everything...let us know what you find!

Theres one in the how to section. Look at the "quick links" sticky and ctrl+F "Bearing". I'd copy and paste but the mouse is like 5 feet away... sorry man.
