So we're looking at a few S2k's and then we're looking at the RX8. For weight distribution, RWD, and high redlines these are high on the list.

Thing is... As far as the RX8 goes. Would you get it with the GT (leather, sunroof) or not? I mean this WILL be a daily driver so it'd be nice to have. But does it really take THAT much away on the track? What do you all think?

well the sunroog would add weight and the leather seat are a little slippery. But if it's more for daily than track I would get them.

not only does it add weight, but the sunroof adds the weight at the very TOP of the car, where you want it least, raising your center of gravity. And as far as daily-ing goes, leather gets pretty damn hot in the summer.

I'd prolly track the miata but not daily drive it.Now if you mean the new MX-5 yes,very good track and daily driver.
