whats an 08 GT worth?

my parents own an 04 mazda3 and I've always liked it and I have thought about getting a mazdaspeed3 for myself and I seen a local 08 grand touring for sale with 50k miles and before I go talk to to them about buying I was hoping I could get some opinions on what the value of one would be.

its in good condition no major issues, exterior has no scratches or dents and the interior is in good shape aswell

I would offer 15 out the door and see where they go from there. Youd probably end up w it for 16 or 16500

Is it a private seller or from a dealer? In either case make sure you have it idle for at least 10 minutes to check on the turbo seals. Having talked to a bunch of speed owners at the occ meet, after 40k miles is when they start to see blue smoke out of the exhaust, something that is common for mazdas, but certainly not good. It could be a good buy, just make sure you do your research.

I just sold my '08 GT last month for $17K even to a guy two hours away. It had just under 30K miles and it was in new condition inside and out.
