Not that picky. Most of us, while installing a system, try to stay with the same brand... just make sure your power ratings match. Almost all these amps come with standard features such as freq..bass...bandwidth adjustments, so no biggie there.
The only other thing is the looks (features) some amps like the one i purchased [CRUNCH GPV2000.1 MONO CHANNEL] has a cool lighting effect(blue glow).
Your JL selection is a class D amp. Amp circuits are on only when signal is there... less distortion and prob less heat generated.... hummp I would go JL
