What was your first car???

Early 70's AMC Ambassador with a 360 V8 and a glass pack. Got it for $500, drove it to death over 2 years and sold it for scrap for $35. Only maint. spent on it was rear brake pads if I recall. It was a nice metallic copper color.

Technically, the first thing I drove was our old chevy farm truck. I regret that my dad didn't drop a rebuilt 327 into it for $150 when he had the chance. What a missed bargain.

Worst car I ever had was the Dodge Shelby Charger. Sold it back to the dealer after 3 months because it spent 2 months in the shop with tranny problems. Fast as spit when it ran though.

1989 Dodge Daytona ES. Burgundy with silver accents

I bought it used and it came all tricked out with ground effects and all. I put a boomin system in there too. I'll have to dig up some pics. I wrecked the ****** on campus 10 feet from a parking spot. Good times.

'93 Dodge Spirit. I beat the everlovin' s*** outta that car, but I loved it. This is the best image I have, tho' it's before I put on the Eibach springs and got rid of the wheel gap. Sold it because .. well, it was just time for a new car, which I still have -- 03.5 MSP!

And I would've had this as my first car, if my dad hadn't sold it, except that my dad's was bright blue.. '69 Dodge Charger R/T. I think he sold it on purpose, tho', cause he was afraid I'd kill myself in it.

.. Manual. My dad had it so heavily modified by the time he sold it that he could only run airplane fuel.

I loved that car.

Here's the brochure for my first car... a white 1983 Chrysler E-Class.
http://www.tocmp.com/brochures/Chrysler/1983/EClass/index.htm

Its funny to see the car in it's prime. When I inherited mine from my sister in 1996, the white paint had a yellow tinge to it, there were rusty bullet holes all over, the floor pan had rusted out, the cloth interior had faded and the silver paint on the dash had rubbed off in several places, and it burned and leaked about 2 quarts of oil a week. The car finally died on the highway when I was driving to the SATs my Junior year in H.S.
