What type of prices?

What type of prices are people getting from dealers on Speed6 GT's?
I am seriously considering purchasing one, but want to make sure that I am getting a great deal. Like most of you, I have noticed these cars just sitting on dealer lots without moving. Please state you location if you reply. I am in the Seattle-Tacoma area.

Thanks!

Work from the invoice price and not the MSRP, Mazda currently offering a$2,5000 rebate from invoice (depending on what part of country). I would look at buying towards the end of month, Dont forget to ask for free stuff car wash, cargo net, upgrade alarm, wind deflector, etc.

bought mine two weeks ago. used s-plan and got the $3500 in rebates since I financed through Mazda. Ended up paying just under $24000. for a GT.

Thanks for the replies. Garyb4000, when you are saying work from invoice, you mean work down from invoice correct? I've been reading in some posts here and other places, that people are getting up to $3K below invoice, as well as the $3.5K in rebates. Are these people telling the truth, or just full of BS. I most likely will wait until the end of the month before I go to buy, but I would like to be working with realistic numbers, so I don't waste my time and get laughed off the lot.

Thanks!

I"m just looking over my lease agreement and they had the price of the car at 26,995, then $3500 in total rebates.

You can get a good deal...some people on here are BSing (Guy claiming to have gotten one for $17K), but most are honest I think. Some people will tell you the price they paid for the car before taxes and tags as opposed to the out the door price.

For instance, I bought an 06 Sport, brand new for about $22,500. Add on taxes, tags and the dealer installed sunroof I got and I actually paid just over $26K total.

I am not really looking for their OTD price, since I know that taxes and tags can vary quite a bit from state to state. I am just looking for the price of the car, including any options.

Thanks!

I guess that I should mention that I am looking for a 2006 Grand Touring model, and the only real option I want is the moonroof.

I just got a new 2006 Speed GT today in pearl white. The car has no moonroof, no navi, but has wheel lock, compass mirror. I got it for around 23k, and exactly 25k drive out. I live in Atlanta with 6% tax. And I didn't use that mazda credit thing, bought the car in cash.

dealership near me in tri-cities has 1 that i know of its a gt with everything.... navietc... at 30 but thats not including rebates i know they have a ms3 in as well for 24 i belive loaded model also i test drove it...lol if your interested pm me i will give you a number to a salesman who i deal with about every 2-3days. nice guy too. let me know i can have you ask about rebates etc...

I was quoted a price of $31,700 (car stickered for $33,650)for a GT with nav, sunroof, mirror, and winter mats and to add to the price of the car it was whitewater pearl. That was in June and I didn't get it. They told me the car was only there for 45 days. I checked the other week and its still there. With 07's starting to show up, they need to get rid of the 06's. I also checked around other dealers and a lot of them were advertising $5000-$6000 off of msrp which I would guess includes all rebates and incentives. I live in IL.

7k off

Bump! Come on people chime in.

You can get $7k off MSRP + TTL but not in all markets. You might have to travel to get it. Do not bother with any dealer that will not give you over $6k off.

Current deal is: $3.5k in rebates ($1k of that requires that you finance thru MAC but can pay it out in a couple of months), most dealers also should get a volume incentive: $300-700 but many refuse to share that...

can you share some of the dealers that i given this 7k and more discount on the mazdaspeed 6, i'm interested in getting one if i can get it at this price.

I agree its all about the market, not too many MS6 in my area, The dealer would at least talk invoice with the rebates. I wanted a GT with just the moon roof. With the rebates this car is a great buy. The 07 will not have 4-50K mile warranty. (something to think about) Maybe with the MS3 hitting dealer showrooms, things will change. (just my speculation)

Just got quoted $24200 (before tax/title/tag) for a MS6 GT w/ sunroof from Fairbanks Mazda in Longwood, FL...
Can I do better???

GT 25000 with tax (7%) tag and title out the dooor. Lease 330/month, 12K miles, 24 months, 0 down.

I've been getting quotes between 22,500 and 22,800 for GT models here in Atlanta. There is still about 30 2006 models left around here while 2007's are coming in.

24855 OTD for me on a Sport. I was shopping both the 3 and the 6. I won't tell you which one I bought (peep) :)
