Just got back from my first long trip, just under 600 miles both ways.
Averaged 36.6 mpg in spite of a couple areas of stop-and-go, I am
reasonably pleased with that. My neck is stiff and sore from being
constantly pushed farther forward than it wants to be by the head
restraint. So far this is the only part of the car that I am starting
to hate. Maybe my neck posture is a bit straighter than average,
but I'm finding that I need at least another half inch behind my head,
so what to do?
Has anyone modified their headrests, and if so what did you do to
it, how does it come apart, go back together, etc?
Or is there a better headrest from another make/model/year that
will fit?
Or maybe a seat cover/pad about a half inch thick?
