What to choose?

Ok so I am torn between two things here....so I thought I would get some opinions. I recently received some birthday money and I am deciding to either get the xcarlink mp3/usb unit or to throw the elemental designs sub and an amplifier to replace the pos bose sub. The question is what would you do?

the stock stereo has plenty of high in it. i have a single 15 running on about 500W and it sounds awesome. box is 2cuf, really small for the sub but it rocks hard. with the aftermarket unit you will still be lacking BASS!!!
thats my opinion anyhow.
