What Rims? Help!

OK, all my friggin choices for rims I can't get. The Velox VX8 only comes in 4 lug, no one has the Konig Blatant in Carbon. I want flat black rims, no gunmetal or black pearl crap. If anyone knows a good rim in black let me know.

how about the subzero or tarmacs....both by rota. The rota wheels are going for about $500 for all four shipped! Or if you want to spend a bit more, the new forged 5 Zigen Beckett wheels are pretty nice too.

Yeah, if you spend the $600+ a wheel for the Becketts. You will get props on this board and many others. I got to see them in person at BozzSpeed on Fremont and dayum, they are beauuutiful. There aren't many flat black or dark gunmetal rims to choose from, I feel like I've seen them all already, well at least the ones in our bolt pattern. Only one's I found are:

Flat Black Konig Traffik: wrong offset though.
Rota Subzero
Flat black Beckett's: A bit expensive for my taste.
Flat black Volk SE-37k: Discontinued
Gunmetal Kosei K-1: Not dark enough.
Gunmetal Volk TE-37

Tenzo also sell the ZT-6 in black or dark gunmetal and Team Dynamic sells a black or gunmetal Monza wheel but I haven't seen either of them in person nor do I know their bolt pattern. Hope I helped a little.

What about these?

Any opinions?

I am considering these, or Tenzo R's, either the Mean 6 or another one I forgot the name.

What about yellow rims? hehe

I know there are black magnesium Volk Racing TE-37 rims, they're very light (I forgot the weight though) but they're VERY expensive (I recall seeing it listed at $5000US for all 4). However, if you buy them, you'll probably be one of the few people, if not the only person, with these rims. Nice design, lightweight AND nice colour. Can't get any better than that.

As far as I know, tenzo and ADR do not currently make wheels in the correct offset for our cars. Ideally you want to look for a +45 or higher offset in a 7 inch width and a +48 or higher offset in a 7.5 inch width. I don't believe we can fit an 8 inch width wheel on our cars withour rubbing. And yes, Volk Racing does make a magnesium te-37 which costs over $1000 for one rim!

OK, I just ordered these.

I was originally told that the carbon ginish wasn't out yet, but the guy at discount tire direct assured me it was the carbon finish. Guess we will see Wends or Thurs.

What offset did you get the Blatants in? I was looking at the bronze ones but everywhere I checked said they didn't make them in a +48 offset.

NC I feel sorry for ya cause I could have saved you some money on those, but oh well.

Hope it all works out.

Those MAG TE-37's are beautiful. I saw them on an RX-7 at HIN San Mateo. I'm not sure if they come in black though. I've only seen them on 2 cars in my life and on both cars they came in a Chameleon Dark Purple.

Yeah too bad for me. I just like helping, but noone listens. Oh well.

Do any of you guys donate to the forum? Well this is how it's supposed to be done, cause I can save you money on the deal and then commission the forum. That's how we do it and that's why I devote time into research and placing it up here. But noone understands the purpose of this simbiotic relationship. hehe.

No skin off my back. Just weird that noone's interested, just got too much money and impulsive habits.

I've seen a ton of guys with Konigs around the forum on their P5's and boy are they gonna regret it. Can't say i didn't heavily warn anyone.

I don't order anything from anyone here cause I am very impatient. Nothing against you or anything, but I like the fact that I can call a place like discount tire and the rims will ship out the same day. Beats having to email someone, then wait to hear from them, then get it all right, you know. If you had an 800 number I could call and I could order something from you and pay with a credit card all in 5-10 mins, I would buy from you all day long. Talk to Enry about getting online ordering up or something like that.

RISHIE,

I just had an idea. If you are a wholeseller, and you are game, I can build an online store on my website, and you can sell anything you have on there. I won't get anything out of it but more website hits and you will have an online store for your products. I can do all the setup and you just do the selling. Let me know if you think this is a good idea.

We can't do our prices online, it's against policy.

We have a number you just gotta ask. But no big deal. Discount is real good at doing test fitments and offsets. hehe.

Patience is a virtue and that's how I make sure I'm always getting the perfect thing.

I feel you, but I just am not interested in the compulsive buyer who might rush us into not giving sound advice.

You of course might be a different situation, cause you do research and then once found want it immediately. We ship out the same day also. In fact they would have come from discount wholesale, the exact same wherehouse. hehe. They're the largest distributor for Konig.

So what about me building you an online store? I know enry doesn't allow you to sell on here, is that what you meant? I have no problem building you a store on my site, would be good for both of us. Let me know.
