for offroad driving... not like ruts and s*** but an open feild randomly throwing the e brake and sliding side ways... i popped the tire off the rim tonight, i put it back on cause i have a little compresser that works up to 20 psi filled her up back to 30 but what should i run for when im doing s*** like that? or does s*** just happen

what profile tires do you have? Im guessing its stock 15's? I dont suggest going sideways on uneven surfaces on any kind of tires because YOU WILL pop the tire off or brake something.

Just go get a cheap crap ass $200 car for that crap. I'm sure you'll have more fun in a car that you don't give a poo about and don't care if you total the control arms, rims, or end up rollin the damn thing. After your field drifting, fly over some curbs in it and do some parking lot drifting too!

yeah ... i decided to take it easy on the protege cause im thinking about getting the hi boost turbo setup in college, and a project kinda car(aka mudding fuckaround car)its all good though thanks for the help anyway

low tire pressure and no bead locks will pop the tire off the rim. the car's wheels and tires aren't made for such abuse and will act accordingly. if you want a mudding car, get a truck. either that or run high tire pressure at the cost of traction and control.
