2003.5 MazdaSpeed Pro
People, I'm looking to by a Mazda3 sedan with 2.3.

I went and got my first look and test drive yesterday and it looking at $18,990 for a Orange sedan with Leather, abs, sport package 1, moon roof, and wheel locks.

what did you get and at what price... looking to get the best price and figure the best way is to see what people in the real world have paid...

Thanks..

After having an Avenger ES or more apt POS, I would not recommend the 3 AT ALL, since it is esentially a Neon with a new name, as will be the Stratus in 05 when it becomes the Dodge 6. Plus, there is a cooler car with the "3" emblem and you might have heard of it.

I paid $19,100 for my Hatch back with leather, 6 CD/ Moonroof, Sport AT. Before my trade in price of $16,000.

3 Sedan Sunlight Silver
moon/cd changer
xenon/tps
sports pack 17" wheels/skirts
side bags/side curtains/ABS brakes
18,675

I have no idea what Nikita is talking about.. but um yeaaaa to my opinion its not like a dodge neon at all !!! the inside of a dogdge neon is soo plain like a focus the looks are not even close.. the 3 looks more like a Jetta from the sides with the side markers and how the doors and shape of it is... hmmmm first i have heard that one though?? someone said it looked like a Lexus to me from the back kinda...... oh well

My price

I purchased the 3s with EVERY option available except for the GPS system and payed $19,300.

Xenon
ABS
Leather
Moonroof/Sunroof
Wheel Locks
Manual Transmission

Here are a couple of options that you shouldn't pay for:

- ashtray replacement compartment (a felt lined ashtray)
- leather handbrake cover (a larger plastic covered handbrake handle)

before tax/lisec

All options with a MZ3S 4-dr Automatic (yes that adds about 800-900 sucks but yeah)

No navi

19,200

great deal if you ask me

I guess I shouldn't really speak since I haven't actually purchased mine yet, but as for the "real world", I'd rather make my own reality ;) . $18,990 isn't all that bad. Figure that the invoice price for the options that you want is $18,236, and the above figure is $750 (or roughly 4%) above invoice. Dealers won't usually have much of a problem letting the car go for around $500 over invoice. Just remember, never work down from MSRP...... work up from invoice! $500 off of MSRP is still $1,000 over invoice! I got a quote IN WRITING for the 3 that I want for 2% ($345) over invoice.

Mazda 3 s 4-door sedan
Winning Blue
moonroof/6- cd changer
ABS / Air bag stuff
Sports Package /w 17" rims and skirt
AT /w manumatic

$19,400 out the door taxes/titles everything

i think i got it $100 under invoice...haggled like crazy..also brought up the point that the dealership sold like 5 cars that day..and they had a high margin day.. so the manager dude was like fine...lol
