What kind of hosing runs to our windshield washer fluid sprayers? I have some more hosing left from HoseTechniques, and I want to know, if I get some hose connectors, if I just cut the hosing and replace the missing part..

not sure if i follow your questions exactly (im a little slow). but if it helps, i replaced all my windshield washer system hoses, with the hoses form the hose techniques kit.

Yes, you can. Be advised, in order to get to the washer tank, you do have to remove the bumper cover.

T3ase. good point i forgot about that one. actually what i did. since i was replacing all the hose for the system. there is a plastic splice between the hose that comes out of the engine compartment and the hose that goes to the hood. i used that splice and just put it as close as i could to the washer tank with out removing the bumper cover. cant really see it. (i know it was hard to understand, cause i was hard to explain.

This is what I was planning to do.... I don't feel like disassembling the front bumper, so I think I'll just buy two splices and go to work :)

hey freekwonder I was woundering what kit did you got from hose techniques kit?? does it replace all the hoses in the engine bay. I only see a kit for Protege5...are they the same as the MSP??

It's the same kit... it's universal. Don't listen to mindless complaints either. There are rumors floating around that the kit doesn't fit OVER the hosing that's already there... well no s***! It's supposed to replace it, not cover it up. It works fine if you replace the hosing thats their already (vacuum lines, windshield washer fluid, CAI hose, etc etc. You can even cut off the cheap plastic covering the wires and split the hosing and put it over that. I'll take some pics of my engine bay as soon as I finish running just a bit more line.

so I going to order my hose today from hosetechniques tonight, I just want to make sure so I order the Protege 5 kit for my MSP??? and I was wounderning Protege 5 it's not turbo charged, how can the hose in the engine bay be the same?? sorry I'm a noob =(

the turbo doesnt effect what kind of hoses are under the hood really. it might effect how many hoses you have though. here is my car with the Hose Techniques kit on it.

*high res pics.

Cool, this sounds like exactly what I want to do. When you're done, be sure to post those pics & let me know how much of each wire you used so I know what to order. I would ideally like to replace as much of the crappy stock hose as possible.

on mine i used every hose, except for some of the 6mm (i just split it and put it on the a/c lines to replace the ugly black covering.) but i do have a little extra hose use from the EBC, that and I covered up the hard line going to my boost gauge, there are a few hoses I didnt get to replace on my car though.

i used the standard protege/protege 5 kit.
OK, I guess I could do that & then assuming there is more hose to be replaced when I'm done, I could then just order more of what I need.
