I was thinking about all the different Sport Compacts that are not available here in N. America. What is your favorite? Why you like it? I have alot of favorites so it was a tossup between these two. The Escort Cosworth RS or the Civic Type R.
I chose the Cossie and its one of my favorites because its loud and in your face and has big power 227bhp and 230lb-ft of torque and AWD.

The Skyline isn't a sport compact in my opinion.

I'm liking the Holdens, I know most of them aren't sport compact, but I think if GM brought their Aussie Division to N. America, they would sell well. The Commodore SS is sick, but, to give a 'sport compact' the Holden Astra SRi Turbo Coupe

It looks like a nice sporty little car. Nice torque figure of 250Nm, or approx. 181 foot pounds of torque, and 150Kw, or approx. 201-203hp...which is not bad for 1166kg, or about 2570pounds...a little heavy for such a small car, but really not that bad at all. fully loaded it comes to about $38, 150.20. A little pricey, but I think it's worth it, such a nice car overall, handles well, good power and torque figures for a 2.0L DOHC turbo

I will choose the Renault Clio Sport V6

The 206 isn't really a good car in it's stock form. It's not awd or turboed...
My MP3 or any Protege other than a MSP isn't AWD or turboed either in its stock form just like the 206 and look what we can do now! :) The only thing my MP3 has going is suspension and rarity.

The 206 has almost nothing in common with it's WRC look a like. Its a 140hp coupe. I also heard that it wasn't too fun to drive either. It's a nice looking hatch though....

Id like to see one of these little sex machines...Polski Fiat.
You cant tell because there is nothing to contrast the size, but its about 4' tall and 9' long...so fun to drive (laugh)

vw polo :)

i like the s3. alfa romeo also makes some cool looking cars too, and of course lotus
i like all of the above stated options too, cept protegev's :p
206's don't even look that good in person, they're not bad but nothing special. holdens are awesome, even ford australia makes some awesome cars that should be sold here but never will be

i hope so, but that announcement was made before support from diamler-chrysler was cut off.
I hope the new CEO of Mitsu will turn it around. The first thing he did was the 10/100k mile warranty.

I don't think the new Galant is the right direction for design for Mitsu to go in. I hate the 04 Galant which looks like a fat Dodge Stratus Sedan I know their basically the same car but its very ugly! The 04 Lancer and Galant look like they should have Pontiac badging on them.

What are their best selling cars? I think its the Eclipse and Lancer. I rarely see the SUVs on the road.
