and also other wicked news, is my friends uncle owns a paint shop out in chilliwack, he said i could get the whole thing done in any colour i want for like $600, and he does a really good job, i saw my friends car re-painted black, looked excellent until it got t-boned

I really wanted the blue but I got what I could. The Yellow is actually a very nice color- it looks great all cleaned up and sparkley - dont repaint it - you will ruin it!

yeah i am rethinking the whole paint job, the yellow does look real nice, there is one at a nissan dealership but it is covered in pollen and the yellow still comes through but it looks dull, i can't wait to take some polish to that bad boy

Best car for the money. Fun to drive. I get more looks and questions than someone with a 40 g sports car just because there is not many speeds out there. I can't stand not to be original, and that's why i would never be caught dead in a honda or a newer mustang. It does have a few quirks, but that just me an excuse to go get some sick aftermarket replacements. The only thing that I hate is the klunk, but it's easy to fix. Buy it and DONT paint it.

Okay. I will chime in. And; Good morning, everyone! My 'Speed sits in the garage as I type this. It has been a rainy weekend. I finished up the Meguiar's 3 Step System on Friday (substituting Gold Class for Step 3 Carnauba), took it out once, and back to the garage where it glows. I have about 21,000 miles on it now, and it's just been great. Yes; I have upped the boost to about 9.5psi, but that's about it, other than the K&N Panel Filter. 'Had the K&N Cone, and sold it.

For me; it's a fun car with incredible handling & road feel, with a really nice stock stereo. It's rare, to be sure, and that is also nice. I said it a year ago, and, I say it again. For my $20,500, I couldn't have gotten a better car for my money. (thumb)

Rarity!!!! I have #2009, i have seen 2 in 3 months one on the road the other at a meet. Thats it!!!!
Color - Deep pearl paint Silver!!!
Handling - my roomy has a 2001 civic and has put 1200 in suspension work and still barely keeps up with the Speed.
Turbo - 2 grand extra to make it perfect instead of 8 grand to add one.

4 doors, priceless to me since i have never owned a 4 door till now. So practical.

Stereo - best stock radio i have ever seen. Play with the radio a bit and you can have it sounding like a 10" in no time!!!

I love everything about my speed. soo hot soo quick. Plus I like the fact that it came with sexy wheels instead of me having to spend some serious coin to gets some aftermarket ones. Plus I think there are maybe 2 other speeds in my town... I think its more like 1.... I never see the others.

I love that the fact that it's the ONLY one in town. I have one of the only turbo'd cars in my town (small town). I love how everytime I go to the gas station someone asks me about it. I love how big the eyes of people who know cars get, when I tell them what kind of car I have. I love everything about my car man! The interior and stock stereo freakin' rock, the handling is amazing and passing ricer civics and watching them struggle in your rear-view mirror to catch up is priceless. I especially loved the time I was slowly creeping up to a red light one night and there was a RICED-out civic in the next lane already stopped. I was in 2nd going about 15 or so and the light turned green, I shifted in to first and gunned it right nect to his windows and my tires lost traction and got all gnarly for a second and I was gone. I was going about 60 or so when I decided to slow down to 45. When I did the dude came flying past me ( by that time it was a one-way road) and he flew into the other lane across double yellow lines, all I did was down shift into 3rd and he was in my rear-view mirror once again. It was great! I love this car!!!

2 grand = FMIC kit and downpipe/catback 2.5" or 3". So if you go custom it will be cheaper and could be about 2 grand all in all.

i luv "THE CLUNK"...the smooth jolt of pain i recieve in my ass followed by the horrible sound sense chills down my back...and the horrible bass i recieve from my blown subwoofer is music to my ears....the nice windshield crack just adds to the edgy stylin of my msp......but i still luv my s***
